The Haven Café
For the start of 2023 our community café has had to change how it operates. Currently it is opens on Wednesdays, 10.00am – 11.00am & 1pm – 2pm. Our focus is on providing a warm economical venue for entertaining your little ones and getting a really great coffee and snack.
Our soft-play and kid’s activities are all FREE!
Kid’s Stuff
At the Haven, we love kids!
SuperTots is the coolest stay and play group in town! With our excellent coffee, free access to our soft play, and more toys than you can count, you are assured of a good time for yourself and your little ones!
SuperTots runs on Wednesday mornings, 10.00am to 11:30 am & 1pm – 2:30pm.
The Haven Food Bank
Open Tuesday & Friday 10am – 12 noon.
Food-banks are intended to provide help in a crisis. We can help with advice and providing contacts to help you with whatever situation you are facing.
To access the FoodBank you will need a voucher for each visit. The voucher will entitle you to a three day food supply for you and any dependents living at the same address.
All food parcels must be collected.
If you need help we want to help you. Employment does not exclude you! Vouchers can be obtained from;
- Church ministers
- The Salvation Army Café
- Doctors surgeries
- Schools
- Probation officers
- Social workers
- Police officers
- Family nurses
- Children’s Centres
Parcels may be collected on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10.00am and midday only.
