We believe that Baptism is a Spiritual Step of obedience and is an important part of living a life that is following Jesus, it is an act of a conscious choice.
Why get baptised?
It’s a public declaration of faith and a commitment to Jesus as Lord
It’s a way to show that a person has accepted Jesus as their personal savior
It’s a way to show that a person wants to be fully committed to God’s will
It’s a way to symbolize the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus
How is it performed?
It’s performed by full immersion in water
It’s often performed in a public place, such as a lake, river, or swimming pool
It’s often accompanied by a testimony from the person being baptized, sharing how they came to faith in Jesus
Who can come?
